The role of Director of Human Resources at a $60 million manufacturing company was unexpectedly left vacant after the incumbent employee’s nearly three decades with the company. This critical role needed to be filled by an experienced human resources manager to ensure that the department’s functions stayed on track until a permanent replacement could be hired.
Globalise provided a director-level human resources manager with experience in manufacturing to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources on a three-month interim basis. In addition, our Globalise manager was charged with preparing and presenting a comprehensive assessment of the company’s human resources practices.
Our manager performed the day-to-day duties of the Director of Human Resources including all necessary functions in compliance, reporting, induction and performance management. She also conducted an audit of the company’s current human resources practices and procedures to develop a gap analysis on the company’s compliance with standards. Our Globalise manager then developed a final report that identified what was working well and which areas needed improvement, and included a plan for the future development of the HR function.
