Franco-German friendship: For globalise, that’s much more than just lip service

Atreus and Valtus form the Germany/France axis within the leading international interim management network globalise.

On Friday, January 22, 2021, France and Germany celebrate the 58th anniversary of the occasion on which Konrad Adenauer and Charles de Gaulle signed the historic Treaty of Friendship between the two countries at the Élysée Palace in Paris. That has always been and remains a reason to celebrate – because Franco-German friendship is not only of the highest political importance but has been an integral part of the DNA of both countries for many decades.

„Globalise is our contribution to Franco-German friendship.“

But at a time when Europe is facing particular challenges, this friendship is even more important. At globalise, this entente reflects our own mission. As the respective national market leaders in interim management, Atreus (Germany) and Valtus (France), we aim to make a significant contribution to shaping success for companies – and as a consequence for the people they employ. In doing so, we go beyond the concept of countries or national borders by joining forces and working together to find the best solution. This is what we have been doing for almost ten years now.

In 2020 alone, Valtus and Atreus worked together on 13 successful interim management projects – in industries as diverse as consumer goods & retail, automotive and mechanical engineering. In each case, this involved filling senior management and C-level positions, from Director Operations to CFO and Managing Director. The challenges we were asked to solve were similarly diverse.

“Our partnership with Atreus plays a major role in the international anchoring of our two companies”, commented Philippe Soullier, CEO of the French globalise company VALTUS. “Thanks to this 10-year collaboration and the Franco-German friendship that is so dear to us, we can rely on a lasting relationship that gets stronger every day and brings our vision of the profession to a larger scale. This ability to bridge our two countries, our two cultures, to come together and stay connected despite the distance, is today more than ever a strength.”

“Globalise is our contribution to Franco-German friendship” – as Dr. Harald Linné, CEO of the German globalise company Atreus, puts it. “As the leading international network for interim management, we can provide our clients with comprehensive support in achieving their growth targets. Franco-German projects currently play a particularly important role in this.”

As of today, the globalise network includes market leaders from almost 20 countries with a total of over 60,000 experienced interim managers at senior management level. Many globalise projects are accompanied and brought to success by teams from several countries. In 2021, in response to the current challenges, this approach will be significantly expanded.
